This weekend the Firsts are away to Mackie 15.00 kick off. Please contact Kevin Manson regarding bus departure times. Good luck lads.
Senior training is every Tuesday and Thursday at Alva Academy astro turf 1900-2100. Everyone is welcome to come down and get involved. Our veterans also train their touch rugby skills at the same times.
Second XV

Cast Tups
Hillfoots Cast Tups versus Beauvais XV
Hillfoots welcomed our French friends from Beauvais over the weekend to celebrate our great friendship between the two clubs. The weekend started with great entertainment from the Wool Pack on Friday evening and then onto Hillfoots RFC members houses for fine dining. Club President Peter Norman had over 16 staying for tea.
After strategically trying to fill up the opposition before the match with a lovely lunch at Wool Pack failed, kick off was imminent.
The game was played at HRFC where the good Scottish weather favoured foots in the opening stages moving the ball from wing to wing, however Beauvais had a more direct approach. After two 20 minute spells and with the Scotland’s Six Nations kick off pressing ever closer the match was drawn to a close. Both sides thought they had won but all were glad to be involved in great game of rugby between friends.
After the Six Nations matches our guests and club members were treated to 3 course meal in the HRFC Clubhouse.
I would like to extend special thank you to Eddie Inglis, Evelyn Little, our friends from Beauvais and members of Hillfoots for making the weekend such a success.

The over 30s training starts back this Tuesday at Alva Academy from 1900-2000 on the AstroTurf. Their training consists of a good game of touch rugby followed by team tactics in the Wool Pack.
