Our mighty Minis section is back at Hillfoots this weekend for home training 1000-1115. Please could all award winners return their player of the week and tackler of the week trophies.

GIRLS RUGBY: Training at Home on Sunday 1000-1115

The mighty Hillburn were in action again at the weekend against Alloa/ Creiff and Falkirk at the Key National Themes festival hosted by Alloa RFC. Hillburn came up against a strong S2 side from Falkirk in their opening game which led to more missed tackles than usual which highlighted in the final score where Falkirk won comfortably. In Hillburns next match against Alloa/ Crieff both teams benefited from  competitive which Hillburn edge 4 tries to 3 with man of the match performances and try saving tackles coming from 1 to 15.

 

This week:

 

Wednesday night training is still on!! Warm clothing and tracksuits (with shorts underneath) are advised. Could all players remember to bring water bottles to training.

 

Sunday we are at home for KNT assessment focusing on the individual tackle. Training will start at 1000 and finish at 1115. 

 

U15/16

Our U15/16 this week lost narrowly to in a very competitive game of rugby. Well done to all those involved and special thanks to Margret Harvey and Debbie Ross for making the match teas this week!!

This Sunday there is no training scheduled for the U15/16 due to international games.

If your son is interested in playing rugby with last season’s league champions please contact [email protected] . Everyone is welcome so see you down at Hillfoots for training on Tuesday for 1900 start.

Girls training is on this Sunday at HRFC, training starts at 1000-1115. Our ladies team will be training on the top left hand side of the park on second XV pitch. Tell your friends !! Lucy and I are looking for fixtures in the next few weeks.
