Calling all HRFC Youth members!
Hillfoots is about to start its selection process for the up and coming Central region rugby trails for 2013.
Last season one of our S3 players was called up into the Caledonia Squad & represented the Club at District level. This was due to our fantastic Youth Coaching Team who are doing a great job developing the next generation of Scottish rugby players.
We will use a “Selection Committee” of Club Coaches to observe & score players over the four KNT’s.
Players will be tested on:
– hand catch,
– ball presentation,
– tackle,
– offload.
This process will happen over the next few weeks so please ensure that players attend all of their training sessions or notify the coach of their absence.
The age groups which will be assessed are: P7, S1, S2, and S3 & S4.
