Key National Themes Pathway Trials

Calling all Youth members! Hillfoots is about to start its selection process for the up and coming Central rugby trails. Last season one of our S3 players was called up into the Caledonia squad and represented the club at district level. This was due to our fantastic youth coaching team who are doing a fantastic job developing the next generation of Scottish rugby players.

We will use a selection committee to observe and score players over the four KNT’s. Players will be tested on: hand catch, ball presentation, tackle and offload. This process will happen over the next few weeks so please ensure that players attend all of their training sessions or notify the coach of their absence.

The age groups which will be assessed are: P7, S1, S2, S3 & S4.

If you have any questions regarding the key national themes or the methods involved please contact [email protected] asap.
