Hillfoots RFC has been taking big steps forward to ensure players have the chance to represent the club at pathway. In the past few weeks Hillfoots RFC created a Selection Committee to assess players in the S1-U15 age groups using the key national theme framework. The Committee consisted of: John Higgins, Murray McKenzie (U15 coaches) Fred Smith, Andy Peterson, (S1-S2), Mike Robins (Junior Coaching Coordinator), Mike Power (Junior Convener), Muff Scobbie, Colin Wright (U18 coaches), JP Ward (Hillfoots Development Officer) and Craig Bolan (Clacks Development Officer). I would like to thank all of the coaches who gave up their time and braved the icy conditions to ensure the club motto and views were embraced. Only a select number young rugby players have been put forward to face the next hurdle in their rugby development. However the club will continue to develop every player to ensure they improve and have a stronger chance for next season trails.
