Just a reminder that the Hillfoots Annual General Meeting is tonight in the clubhouse.
It’s been another stellar season for the club in many respects, and the committee would love to see as many of you as possible attend on Thursday night, when President Peter Norman will present a short summary of the season, along with the other committee members.
Hillfoots is YOUR club – it is run by a group of willing and committed volunteers but we continue to need – and would greatly benefit from – strengthening the committee with people with relevant experience of running what is now a thriving and complex enterprise. Committee positions are up for election tomorrow evening and so if you think you can add some expertise and energy to the running of the club, do please come down and stand for election.
Finally the committee also hopes to give everyone a short update on the status of our 2020 project for the re-development of the club, our plans to continue to allow Hillfoots to grow and prosper for the future. So do please make an effort to come down and have your say, and join fellow members, young and old for an end of season drink or two at this important event in the club’s annual calendar.
