A Hillfoots Select XV challenged Dollar Academicals (FPs) to a post Xmas match on the Dollar Academy First pitch, celebrating games of years gone by when this fixture was a regular annual event. Kick off was 11.30 (ish) & all who spectated remarked on what a good game of rugby it was. Certainly, it was keenly contested. In the end DA proved the stronger team, winning 26 – 7. Maybe this was because Eddie Inglis was unable to take to the field on account of his wife having hidden his boots! Next year Eddie?!!
