A Great Summer and Exciting Times Ahead!
Good luck to both the Team GB Men’s and Ladies’ Sevens Teams in Rio! The weather has not always blessed us over the summer, but we have had great numbers turning out every fortnight for our Family Friendly Tag Rugby and every week for our S1 and S2 training. Sadly, this Friday is our last Tag Rugby Session of the summer season – so why not take some inspiration from the Olympic Sevens and come down to the Park for 1800 – Everyone Plays! The BBQ will be hot and toasty from 1900 and the bar will be open, so if you’re not playing, come along and have a great start to the weekend!
Our senior squad have also started their training on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1900 and the new coaching team have had a huge impact on our pre-Season training! A few of the ‘Old and Bold’ have been down for a look and everyone is buzzing about the potential this season! We are always on the look out for new players of all ages and abilities, so if you know anyone, please forward this newsletter and get them down! Come along on Saturday 13 August at 1400 for the 1st XV’s first home match of the season against Bannockburn RFC!
Finally, with the Tillycoultry Community Week coming up we are looking forward to running our Summer Camp from 15-19 August before kicking off the Junior Season on Sunday 21 August at 1000. Come down to the Club from 0845 and we will progress through the Key National Themes each day until 1230. Don’t forget wet weather gear, a change of clothes, gum shields, water and a snack!
