Key National Themes Pathway Trials
Calling all Youth members! Hillfoots is about to start its selection process for the up and coming Central rugby trails. Last season one of our S3 players was called up into the Caledonia squad and represented the club at district level. This was due to our fantastic youth coaching team who are doing a fantastic job developing the next generation of Scottish rugby players.
We will use a selection committee to observe and score players over the four KNT’s. Players will be tested on: hand catch, ball presentation, tackle and offload. This process will happen over the next few weeks so please ensure that players attend all of their training sessions or notify the coach of their absence.
The age groups which will be assessed are: P7, S1, S2, and S3 & S4.
If you have any questions regarding the key national themes or the methods involved please contact firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP.
Keep up to date with Hillfoots RFC via our club website for all news articles and up and coming events.

After a great victory against Strathmore, Hillfoots 1st XV had a rare weekend off due to bad weather. Some of the squad found themselves jetting off to France for spot of snowboarding and team bonding. Hopefully ‘foots can continue their winning form against their next opponents.
After a close encounter with Carnoustie the 2nd XV were looking for their next victory against Harris. However the plan became unstuck due the adverse weather conditions. The Seconds are away this weekend to Panmure 2nd XV. Please could all players contact Alan Aaron to confirm availability asap.
